ExESS® provides users a comprehensive and globally compliant solution for the authoring and distribution of Safety Data Sheets (SDSs). Built on flexible and scalable Microsoft .NET technology, ExESS is user friendly and can be installed on a few workstations, over worldwide corporate networks, or accessed and used via the cloud.
Available for the following countries and their directives: CLP, the UN, the EU, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, China, South Korea, Australia, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand, Turkey and Indonesia. In addition: OSHA, ANSI and Transportation classifications (ADR/RID/ADN, DOT, ICAO, IMDG, UN RTDG, RES420 regulation).
Country-specific classifications are supported also, such as the Austrian VbF, the German BetrSichV, Störfallverordnung and WGK; VOCs for the EU, US and Swiss VOCV, as well as the Danish MAL, ABM for the Netherlands and for the US NFPA and HMIS-ratings.

ExESS allows users to view and export to MS Excel the calculation and underlying data (including source) used for arriving at a classification.
A wide range of multilingual templates is available: (M)SDS documents (fully compatible with ANSI Z400.1-2010, REACH appendix II and GHS / JIS for Japan, South Korea, etc.); Labels; Workplace Instruction Cards; certificates; etc.
ExESS also has a very flexible, user-friendly report layout designer and template editor which allows creation of new and modified report templates and the built-in MS Word and MS Excel report template generator caters for both individual (single) and batch (bulk) reporting.
ExESS contains more than 250,000 pre-defined Lisam phrases and text-snippets, and over 25,000 validated phrases translated into 56 languages. Lisam`s libraries also contain more than 500 pictograms. ExESS also offers the option to use 30 languages for drawing up extended SDSs and the ability to easily import and use the client’s own phrase library.

Users have the option of copying product data and product family data can also be inherited. All the products thus inheriting can be maintained in one single location, i.e. the family product. Changes to the highest level are automatically applied to the inheriting products.

Automated versioning with major and minor change management and automatic re-numbering of document versions; detailed and automated version change tracking.
